In 1995, Markus Maier-Schambeck opened his own graphics office in Euskirchen. Even then, his vision was to build a media company with specialized departments in all areas of media communication and production. The one-man company expanded very quickly.

As early as 1997, a company for prepress and large-format digital printing services was incorporated with the opening of mediaworx. With the move into the 800sqm office building in 2000, Maier-Schambeck realized his vision and founded the company medienkraftwerk GmbH. In the process, the previous companies merged with medienkraftwerk GmbH.

In autumn 2007, the new production center opened on 900m². State-of-the-art machinery guarantees precision work and short delivery times.

With a team of 32 employees, medienkraftwerk now works for medium-sized companies and industry across all sectors. The strengths lie in the short response time and the high quality of advertising and media productions, from design to printing to the Internet.
