Terms of redemption for gift vouchers

How to redeem a gift voucher at medienkraftwerk and what to consider.

Gift certificates are redeemable until the end of the third year after purchase.
Gift certificates can be redeemed via the shopping cart.
Gift Certificates and remaining Gift Certificate balances are valid until the expiration date. Remaining balances will be credited to your Gift Certificate Account until the expiration date of the Gift Certificate, after which they can no longer be used.
If the value of the gift voucher is not enough for your order, you can pay the difference using the offered payment methods or by entering more gift vouchers on the same page.
More than one gift certificate can be used for one order.
To view the balance existing from gift vouchers, visit "My Account" under the item Check Voucher Balance.

When ordering a gift voucher, the complete payment details must be provided in the order form. A subsequent addition of the information is not possible.
Cancellation of voucher orders can only be made by our customer service if the voucher has not yet been redeemed.

Gift vouchers or gift voucher balances cannot be paid out in cash, offset against outstanding receivables or transferred to another customer account. Resale of gift vouchers is also not permitted.

In case of spelling mistakes in the e-mail address of the gift voucher recipient, medienkraftwerk GmbH assumes no liability. Likewise, medienkraftwerk GmbH assumes no liability for loss, theft, misuse or delayed transmission (e.g. due to technical difficulties) of gift certificates.

In the event of fraud, attempted deception or suspicion of other illegal activities in connection with a gift voucher purchase or redemption at http://www.medienkraftwerk.de, medienkraftwerk GmbH is entitled to close the relevant customer accounts and/or demand an alternative method of payment. There is no entitlement to activation or payment of affected vouchers.
